Charles Terry Construction is grateful to the thousands of customers who have contributed to our success over the past decades. One way we show our gratitude is by volunteering with Midland Habitat for Humanity, a Christian-based non-profit that changes lives by building safe, decent, affordable homes for low-income families in our area. This work is done in partnership with the families in need, volunteers and the Midland community.
Midland Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1991 by Don Hellinghausen, Father Jon Stasney and Chris Davidson. Since that time, over a hundred houses have been built, providing a home for almost 500 people.
Here’s how decent, affordable housing changes a family’s life.
1. The cycle of poverty is broken.
2. Health, physical safety and security are improved.
3. Educational and job prospects increase.
4. A sense of stability and dignity grows.
5. Money is freed up for other essential needs.
By donating our time and skill to this important cause, we proudly help fellow Midland County residents realize the dream of homeownership. We encourage everyone to join this effort. Visit Midland Habitat for Humanity for more details about how you can help.
